Welcome, To WWE NXT, we are shown a recap video of Sami Zayn brawling with Kevin Owens from last week. Kevin Owens walked down to the ring and starts cutting a promo about how last week he was about to get rid of Alex Riley, but Sami Zayn had to play a hero. Owens said that he is standing right here, he is ready for a fight and let’s do this right now. William Regal walks out instead. Regal said that he will not use NXT to his advantage. Owens said that he never called Regal out here and he doesn’t really care what Regal has to say. He demands Sami Zayn. This leads to Sami Zayn walking down to the ring. Regal stopped him, he said that this will not turn into a circus like last week. He said that Owens will fight Zayn at NXT Takeover for the NXT Title. Owens said that he will fight him, but not for the title. He said that Sami has done nothing for the title. Zayn said that Owens really wants this match but also needs this match. Zayn said that anything Owens has done in his career always has had Zayn’s name next to it. He said that Owens might be Champion, but what he did to Sami Zayn as well. He knows Owens has lived in his shadow and it kills him to know that. Zayn said that if Owens wants a fight, then he wants a prize. Owens agreed, he said that this is the biggest mistake of Zayn’s life.
Blake and Murphy try talking to Carmella backstage, but she tells them to get lost. Alexis Bliss walked up to her and told her to have more class in herself. Carmella shoved her away.

Non-Title Tag Team Match: Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Blake and Murphy.
Blake and Enzo start things off, Blake with a cheap shot right hand. He drags Enzo into their corner and puts the boots to him. The Tag Team Champs double team Enzo in the corner. Moments later, Enzo fights back and gets the hot tag to Big Cass. He cleaned house in the ring, nailed a big boot to Murphy. Enzo tagged in, hit his finisher for the win.
Winners: Enzo Amore and Big Cass
Becky Lynch cuts a backstage promo about how winning the NXT Women’s Championship is everything. She is here to be the best in the Women’s division, that is her title and this will be her world.
Bayley cuts a backstage promo about how she is so nervous about her match with Dana Brooke that she can’t find her headbands. She walked away…. but Emma appeared, she said I think she is looking for these. Emma had her headbands in her hands.

A hype video package for Baron Corbin is shown.
Singles Match: Dana Brooke vs. Bayley.
Brooke with a knockdown, Bayley landed a forearm shot and then went for a splash in the corner, but Brooke moved. Brooke pulled her down by her hair and then choked her in the corner. Bayley fought back, nailed a power slam and went to the top rope. Her music started to play with Emma walking down to the ring. This distracted Bayley, Brooke with a running knee and a sit down power slam for the win.
Winner: Brooke.

Singles Match: Hideo Itami vs. Adam Rose.
The fans chant Hideo Itami’s name as he hits Rose with a series of kicks to the chest. Itami with a drop kick for 2. Rose rolled to the floor and pulled Itami down. Back in the ring, Rose put the boots to Itami in the corner. Moments later, Itami fought back and nailed Rose with a flying kick for the win.
Winner: Itami
-Commercial Break-
Bayley is shown looking for Emma in the backstage area. A cameraman caught up with her, they asked what was going on and she said that she will get her stuff (merchandise) back from Emma.
Singles Match: Becky Lynch vs. Sarah Thompson.
Lynch kicked her in the gut, but Sarah rolled her up for 2. Lynch cut her off with a drop kick and a leg drop. Lynch finished her off with a Seated Fujiwara armbar.
Winner: Becky Lynch

Kevin Owens is on commentary for the following match.
Singles Match: Sami Zayn vs. Alex Riley.
They lock up, Riley with an arm drag and a locked in a shoulder submission. Riley with a drop kick for 2. Riley with another arm submission, he then nailed a neck breaker for 2. Zayn fought back, he sent Riley to the floor and hit a dive over the top rope. Kevin Owens ran down, he hit Zayn from behind causing the DQ.
Winner: Zayn by DQ.
Owens connected with a powerbomb to Riley on the apron. “Thank you Owens” chants broke out from the crowd. Owens stood over Zayn with the NXT title and that’s how we end the show.
