Welcome to WWE NXT, we kick things off in the women’s division.
Singles match: Carmella vs. Peyton Royce
They lock up, Carmella with a knocked down then went for a suplex, but blocked and Royce hit one of her own instead. Royce with a headlock but Carmella fought out. Royce with a kick to the gut of Carmella, but then ran into an elbow by Carmella. Carmella hit a spear in the corner then followed it up with a big boot followed by a reverse neck breaker for 2. Carmella with a headlock but Royce would later fight out of it. Royce with a crossbody, but when she went for a suplex, Carmella reversed and locked in a leg scissor type submission for the win.
Winner: Carmella
Finn Balor and Samoa Joe are shown talking in the back. They hinted at a possible Joe – Balor feud as Joe put the title on the shoulder of Balor as he walked out of the locker room. This was very brief.
Highlights of Big Cass and Enzo Amore as well as The Mechanics winning their first round match in the Dusty Rhodes Classic at a recent NXT live event.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic match: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Bull Dempsey and Tyler Breeze.
Breeze and Ciampa start off the match. Breeze taunted Ciampa early in the match until Ciampa slapped Breeze in the face. Dempsey was tagged in as Breeze stood on the apron in shock. The two men lock up, Bull with a shoulder block. Breeze tagged himself in and locked in a headlock on Ciampa. Ciampa fought out and tagged in Gargano, who hit a spear on Breeze then hit a kick and a neck breaker on Breeze for a near fall. Breeze tagged in Bull following this exchange. Gargano went for an arm drag but blocked. He went for a crossbody but just bounced off a no selling Bull. Gargano with an enziguri then tagged in Ciampa, who hit a running knee to the face of Bull for 2. Ciampa put the boots to Bull’s face as we head to break.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Bull fighting back against Gargano. Bull accidentally knocked Breeze off the apron as Ciampa got the hot tag and rolled up Bull for the win.
Winners: Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa
Following the match, Breeze attacked Bull and kicked him while he was down. Breeze laid him out with a superkick then walked to the back.
Dana Brooke cuts a backstage promo about wanting to be the best Diva in the NXT’s women’s division. She said that she won’t use her looks to get to the top of the division, but will rather win the NXT Women’s Championship to be the best in NXT. Playtime is over, according to Brooke.

Singles match: Dana Brooke vs. Billie Kay
The two girls lock up, Brooke poked her on top of her head. Kay with a headlock takeover. Kay fought out and connected with one of her own. Brooke with a headlock but Kay fought out as well with a big boot. Brooke caught her with an Enziguri out of nowhere and hit her sit down power slam finisher for the win.
Winner: Brooke
This was a sloppy match to say the least.
Apollo Crews cuts a backstage promo about his time in NXT. Crews said that the NXT fans are the Apollo Nation and that nation is about to take over NXT.
-Commercial Break-
We move from Full Sail University to a WWE arena. This match was taped several weeks ago prior to a SmackDown TV taping. Tom Phillips and Jimmy Uso are the commentators.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic match: Samoa Joe & Finn Balor vs. The Lucha Dragons.
Sin Cara and Finn Balor start things off. Cara with an arm lock but Balor countered and did the same. The fans are chanting this is awesome literally thirty seconds into the match. Balor kicked Cara in the face and it sent him flying to the floor. Balor with a dive over the top rope taking out Sin Cara and Kalisto.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Joe and Balor in control of Sin Cara. Balor bounced off the ropes but was caught by Cara with a back breaker. Kalisto tagged in to hit a head scissors then tagged in Cara, who hit a springboard splash. Balor manages to get the hot tag to Joe. He cleans house on Cara but walked into a big boot. Cara went for a monkey flip but blocked and Joe countered it into a muscle buster, but it’s blocked. Cara and Joe trade strikes. Kalisto with a blind tag and hit a hurricanrana for 2. Cara hit a dive through the ropes taking out Balor. Joe reversed a move and hit a power slam. Joe with the Muscle Buster then tagged in Balor, who hit the double foot stomp off the top rope for the win.
Winners: Balor and Joe.
Balor and Joe celebrate in the ring to close the show.
