Welcome everyone to tonight's edition of Monday Night Raw. We begin tonight's show with the arrival of Triple H and Stephanie Mcmahon, The Authority. Triple H says it's a good night to be right. Stephanie gets on the mic and says that sometimes, as The Authority, they get to make blockbuster announcements. Stephanie says that tonight we finally have resolve when it comes to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Stephanie shows a video of Daniel Bryan's surgeon who says that Daniel Bryan is not cleared to compete at Money in the Bank, but he will be reevaluated next month. Stephanie tells the fans that they can't be disappointed. They can't expect an A+ recovery from a B+ player. Triple H says that it's best for business to have a fighting champion, and then says that Daniel Bryan can't do that at the pay per view. Stephanie then officially strips Daniel Bryan of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Loud "No" chants from the WWE Universe. Stephanie says that their hands are forced, and have to do what's best for business. Stephanie tells Daniel Bryan that their condolences go out to him and his ungrateful wife as well. Stephanie says that unlike Daniel and Brie, the show must go on. She says that there will be a championship ladder match at Money in the Bank. Stephanie then says that the first person to be in the match will be Alberto Del Rio. Triple H then says that the 2nd person in the match will be Randy Orton. Triple H then guarantees that there will be a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Money in the Bank. Triple H says that it's funny how everyone couldn't wait to get to the building after Wrestlemania to rub Daniel Bryan in their faces, but it turns out that they were right all along. He then says that Daniel Bryan is not WWE World Heavyweight Championship material. Triple H says that everyone needs to adapt or perish. He then says that Seth Rollins adapted last week. The Shield didn't adept, and that's why what happened last week, happened. Triple H then shows us what happened to end Raw last week.
Back in the arena, Triple H says that he is believes in Seth Rollins. He says that Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns will whimper to the end. He says that Ambrose and Reigns will be in six man action against The Wyatt Family tonight, and they have to find a partner. He tells them good luck, considering everyone they have hurt since they debuted. Triple H says that tonight, The Shield parish. Triple H and Stephanie look at the titles above the right and then leave as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Justin Roberts tells us that the next match will be a World Championship qualifying match. The WWE United States Champion makes his way to the ring. He will be going one on one with the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett. Barrett makes his way out with a mic in hand. Barrett says that in life, the people you step up on the way up, are the same people you pass on the way down. He tells Sheamus he has some bad news for him. Barrett says that when he climbs to the top of the ladder and grabs the title, he says that he is never ever coming back down.

Both men lock up to start the match. Sheamus backs Barrett into the corner, but Barrett pushes him away. Barrett lands a kick to the gut and throws some right hands. Sheamus hits the corner and explodes out with a clothesline. Sheamus drops a couple of knees. Barrett fights back with right hands and a headbutt in the corner. Barrett lands a big clothesline and Sheamus is down. Sheamus fights back to his feet and goes for the 10 clubbing blows, but Barrett knocks him out of the ring. Barrett jumps off the steel steps and lands a tackle. Barrett tosses Sheamus back in the ring. Sheamus hits the ropes and lands a big clothesline of his own. Sheamus tosses Barrett onto the apron and then lands his 10 clubbing blows. Sheamus suplexes Barrett back in the ring and covers for a 2 count. Sheamus goes to the 2nd rope and tries to drop a knee, but Barrett moves. Barrett hits the ropes, but Sheamus catches him and both men flip over the top rope to the floor as we go to commercial.
