Good evening everyone and welcome to this special “Old School” edition of Monday Night Raw. Our announcers for the evening are Michael Cole and JBL. We open up Monday Night Raw with the arrival of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Flair welcomes everyone to Old School Raw. Flair said that when he heard Raw was going to be in Baltimore, he had to be there. He says he is going to style and profile all night long. Flair struts in the ring as the music of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton starts up. He makes his way to the ring.
Orton and Flair embrace in the ring and Flair congratulates Orton. Randy says he has the up most respect for him, and he taught him so much in his career. He says tonight isn’t only about the legends, but it’s about him as well. Orton talks himself up as the greatest superstar of all time. Orton asks Ric to step aside because he has something he wants to say. Loud “no” chants at Orton. Orton talks about Stephanie Mcmahon’s announcement from last week that Orton will defend the title at the Royal Rumble against John Cena. Orton says he has proved himself already against John Cena. Orton wants the Authory to reverse their decision for the match at the PPV. Ric Flair tells Orton that when he was young, you went out every night of the week proving that you are the man. He says that’s why he has 2 hall of fame rings. Flair says all Orton is doing is crying about the rematch. He suggests that Orton should defend the title. Orton calls Flair the most overrated superstar in history. Orton said he was good in his time, but times have changed. Orton tells Flair to leave, because he won’t be held responsible for what happens next. Flair says no, and Orton will listen to him whether he likes it or not. Flair says 10 years ago, he and HHH hand picked him as the future of the company. He says Orton brought an immature attitude that he still has. He asks Orton that when he goes home, does he consider him a man. Orton asks Flair if he should go old school on him right now. Before they start to fight, John Cena shows up.
Cena embraces Flair and then tells Orton that every time he talks, he sinks lower. Cena tells Orton that he shouldn’t take his frustrations out on Ric Flair. He then talks about Flair’s accomplishments. Cena says that Orton doesn’t belong in the same conversation as Ric Flair. Cena says he feels like going old school too. Cena calls out Orton to fight right now. Orton backs up and heads out of the ring. Orton backs up the ramp as John Cena and Flair embrace in the ring again. Michael Cole and JBL update us on the condition of Jerry Lawler seeing as he is under the weather and not at the show tonight. They then show us a video package highlighting the feud between Daniel Bryan and The Wyatt Family.
Back on Raw, The Usos and Rey Mysterio are in the ring. They will tag against Luke Harper, Rowan Harper, and Daniel Bryan of The Wyatt Family.
The Usos and Rey Mysterio vs. The Wyatt Family
Luke Harper and Jey Uso start the match off. Luke Harper stars on offense with a big shoulder tackle. Harper now tags in Daniel Bryan. Rey Mysterio also tags in. Bryan with a big right hand and knees to Mysterio. Mysterio low bridges Bryan and he flies to the outside right in front of Bray Wyatt. Bray tells Bryan to go get them as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Eric Rowan is in control of Jimmy Uso. Rowan lifts up Jimmy and hits a big fall away slam. Rowan tags in Bryan. Bryan with big kicks to the chest of Jimmy. Bryan now chokes Jimmy on the middle rope. Bryan hits the roeps and hits a big drop kick to the back of Jimmy Uso. Bryan tags in Rowan. Rowans stands on the head of Jimmy in the corner. Jimmy hits the corner but catches Rowan with a big boot. He then connects with a big superkick. Jimmy tags in Mysterio. Mysterio with a big head scissor on Rowan. Rowan lifts up Mysterio but he catches him with a hurricanrana. Jey Uso comes off the top with a splash but misses. Daniel Bryan tags himself in, but Harper tags himself in right afterwards. Harper lifts Jey up, but Jey counters into a rollup for a 3 count.

The announcers tell us that later on tonight, there will be a Piper’s Pit with guests The Shield
Back on Raw, the announcers tell us that the returning Batista has officially entered the Royal Rumble match. They then show us a clip from last week with what transpired between Damien Sandow and The Great Khali. We go to the back where Brad Maddox is talking to 3 hall of famers. 1 of them will be the referee in the match between Sandow and The Great Khali. Kane now joins Brad Maddox. Kane asks Brad if there is anything he needs to say to him. Brad asks him if he is going to threaten him with violence. Kane says no, because that will get him fired. Kane said if that did happen, he would make sure Brad would never be seen again. Kane tells Brad to remember that the next time he tells the Authority about his job performance. We go to the back where Big E runs into Money Inc. IRS tells Big E to not forget to pay his taxes.
Back on Raw, the announcers are joined at ring side with Ryback. In the ring is Big E Langston and Curtis Axel. They will go one on one.
Big E Langston vs. Curtis Axel
Langston starts the match with 2 rib busters. Axel fights back with punches and kicks in the corner. Axel covers for a 2 count. Axel locks in a rear chin lock. Big E fights out and hits a shoulder tackle in the corner. Axel fights back with a big drop kick to the chin of Big E. Axel charges in with a knee to knock Big E to the outside. Axel gives chase but Big E throws him face first into the announce table. Both men now back in the ring. Axel rolls us Big E for a 2 count. Both men hit the ropes and Big E runs over Axel. Big E lifts him up and connects with The Big Ending for the 3 count.

We go to the back and we see “Rowdy” Roddy Piper making his way to the ring. Piper’s Pit will be next.
Back on Raw, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper makes his way to the ring for Piper’s Pit. Piper says he was “old school” before old school was cool. Loud “Roddy” chants by the crowd. Piper is cut off by the music of The Shield. They make their way through the crowd to the ring. Amborse asks who gave this old man a live microphone? Ambrose says that Piper should be thanking god that The Shield wasn’t around when he was relevant. Piper admits that he has been beat up, but his mind is fine. The only person that can match him on the mic is CM Punk. Ambrose tells Piper to tread lightly around The Shield. Rollins calms him down. Rollins tells Piper that they are too smart or Piper’s games. He says Piper is jealous of Ambrose because he is a better US champion than he ever was. Hot Rod says he may be right. Piper says Rollins can’t beat Punk one on one. Neither can Ambrose. He looks at Reigns and asks him if he beats Punk tonight, doesn’t that make him better than the rest of The Shield? He asks Reigns if they are holding him back. Reigns says he will beat CM Punk tonight, and if he ever touches him again, he will break him in half. Ambrose says to leave a memorable impression with Piper. CM Punk’s music cues up and he runs to the ring with The New Age Outlaws. All 6 men fight in the ring. The faces clear the ring of The Shield. They celebrate with Piper in the ring doing the pose of The Shield.
Back on Raw, Sin Cara has made his way to the ring. His opponent, Alberto Del Rio, now makes his way to the ring. They will go one on one.
Sin Cara vs. Alberto Del Rio
Del Rio starts the match off with lots of aggression. Sin Cara comes back with a cruifix for a 2 count. Del Rio comes back with a kick to the gut. Sin Cara fights back with kicks and an arm drag. Del Rio charges in and hits a stomp in the corner to Sin Cara. Del Rio covers for a 2 count and then locks in a reverse chin lock. Sin Cara fights back to his feet but gets tossed into the corner. Sin Cara comes back with a head scissor and a springboard back elbow. Sin Cara covers and only gets a 1 count. Sin Cara goes up top and goes for the swanton bomb, but misses. Del Rio hits a superkick and covers for the 3 count.
Winner by Pinfall – Alberto Del Rio
After the match, Del Rio says that everyone should be talking about him, but they are talking about Batista. He says that at the rumble, he will eliminate Batista. Then, everyone will be talking about him as the winner of the Royal Rumble match.
Back on Raw, the announcers show us what happened earlier in the 6 man tag team match earlier between The Wyatt Family and the team of The Usos and Rey Mysterio. We go to the back with The Family. Bryan tells Harper that he willingly joined the family. He can teach them as much as they can teach him. He is a former tag team champion. Bray comes into the picture and tells Bryan that next week, Bryan will be teaming with him.
Back in the arena, The Real Americans are in the ring. They will tag against the tag team champions, The Brotherhood.
The Brotherhood vs. The Real Americans
Jack Swagger and Goldust start the match. Goldust with a shoulder block and then an atomic drop. Swagger tags in Cesaro and gets an atomic drop of his own. Goldust tags in Cody and they his a double face buster on Cesaro. Cody covers for a 2 count. Cesaro fights back but eats a big clothesline by Cody. Cody covers for a 2 count. Goldust tags back in. Goldust drops a knee and covers for a 2 count. Cesaro backs Goldust into his corner and tags in Swagger. Swagger with knees to Goldust and tags back in Cesaro. Cesaro covers for another 2 count and locks in a rear chin lock. Cesaro tosses Goldust back into their corner and tags in Swagger. Swagger covers for a 2 count. Cesaro tags back in and locks in another rear chin lock. Goldust fights back with a boot to the face and hits a top rope hurricanrana. Cody tags in and hits a springboard drop kick for a 2 count. Cody with a roll up for another 2 count. Cody connects with a disaster kick to Swagger on the apron. Cesaro hits Cody with a European upppercut and tosses Cody to the outside as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Swagger has a bear hug on Cody Rhodes. Swagger hits a scoop slam and follows with a Swagger Bomb. Cesaro tags in and hits a big double stomp. Swagger now tags back in and locks in a front face lock. Cody tries to fight to his corner, but Swagger knocks him down and tags in Cesaro. Cody tosses Cesaro over the top rope and starts crawling to Goldust. Cesaro runs in and hits a big boot to the face of Goldust. Cesaro hits a big uppercut to Cody and covers for a 2 count. Cesaro charges Cody in the corner but misses him. Swagger tags in and locks in The Patriot lock on Cody. Cody tries to reach the ropes but Swagger pulls him back. Right before Cody taps, Goldust comes back in and breaks the hold. Both men are now trying to make a tag. Goldust gets the hot tag and is all over Swagger. Goldust tosses Cesaro in and hits a double crossbody. Goldust with a powerslam and a cover but Cesaro breaks the count. Cody low bridges Cesaro. Goldust hits his finisher on Swagger and covers for a 3 count.

We go to the back and DDP is back there with Booker T. DDP plugs his DDP Yoga and tells Booker he should do it. He says Booker will be able to do the best spinarooni ever. Booker tries to do yoga, but pulls something in his back. They look over and Ron Simmons shows up. He looks at them and says “DAMN.”
Back on Raw, Damien Sandow is in the ring. The Great Khali now makes his way to the ring. We now find out who the WWE Universe chose as the special guest referee for this match. The winner is Sgt. Slaughter. He now makes his way to the ring.
The Great Khali vs. Damien Sandow
Sandow starts the match with a few right hands. Khali corners him and lands some kicks and stomps. Khali with a huge chop to Sandow in the corner. Sandow bails to another corner and eats another chop. Khali goes for the big chop but Sandow goes to the corner. Sandow fights back with stomps in the corner of his own. Khali pushes Sandow away and connects with an elbow and a big boot. Khali with a few clotheslines and connects with the big chop. Sgt. Slaughter makes the 3 count, but didn’t see Sandow’s foot on the bottom rope.
Winner by Pinfall – The Great Khali
Sandow shoves Slaughter, and Slaughter locks in The Cobra Clutch. Slaughter then tosses Sandow to the outside. Slaughter starts dancing with Singh and Khali. We go to the back and see Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman making their way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, we are joined by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.
Paul Heyman introduces himself and Brock Lesnar to the WWE Universe. Heyman wants to clarify exactly what old school means. He says it isn’t letting the legends have a last hurrah. He says old school is where 1 man reigns supreme and every superstar steps forward and challenges that man. He says back in the day, Bruno Sammartino reigned supreme. Back in the day, Hulk Hogan reigned supreme. Back in the day, Stone Cold Steve Austin reigned supreme. He says that, is old school. Today, 1 man reigns supreme, and that 1 man’s time will be limited because Brock Lesnar will be coming after him. He says there nobody in any sport who can reign supreme like Brock Lesnar. Last week, Mark Henry found out the hard way. He says it doesn’t matter who it is, anyone who challenges Lesnar will be a loser. Mark Henry makes his way out to the ring. Henry and Lesnar trade blows in the middle of the ring. Lesnar locks in the kimura lock. He then breaks the arm of Mark Henry. Heyman lifts the arm of Brock Lesnar as they stand over a fallen Henry. As they make their way up the ramp, the music of The Big Show starts up. Big Show makes his way out and stares a hold through Brock Lesnar. Lesnar back peddles and slides into the ring. Big Show climbs into the ring and Lesnar bails to the floor. Lesnar slides into the ring and Big Show tosses him across the ring and to the outside. Lesnar and Heyman back up the aisle with Heyman trying to be the voice of reasoning.
The announcers show us what happened earlier in the night between Randy Orton, John Cena, and Ric Flair.
Back on Raw, The Bella Twins make their way to the ring. The will tag against the team of Aksana and Alicia Fox.
The Bella Twins vs. Aksana and Alicia Fox
Nikki and Alicia Fox start the match. Nikki with a couple quick arm drags and a shoulder lock. Alicia counters with a head scissor. Both ladies up and Nikki hits a face buster. Nikki charges Alicia in the corner and hits a monkey flip. They lock up and Alicia tosses Nikki to the outside. Both ladies back in the ring and Alicia attacks the leg of Nikki. Alicia covers and gets a 2 count. Alicia backs Nikki into the corner and tags in Aksana. Aksana works on the left leg of Nikki and locks in a knee lock. Nikki tries to fight out and finally does. She tags in Brie. Brie with the hot tag and hits a drop kick on Aksana. Brie with a big running knee to the face of Aksana. Aksana with a boot but then eats some right hands and a back elbow. Brie goes for a missile drop kick, but misses. Aksana covers Brie and gets the 3 count.

We go to the back where we see 2 cool together. They will be in action when we come back from commercial break.
Back on Raw, 3MB is in the ring. The will be in 6 man tag action against a returning Too Cool.
Too Cool vs. 3MB
Brian Christopher and Jinder Mahal start the match. Mahal runs into a big boot by Brian. Brian hits a bulldog and tags in Scotty. Vintage tag team by Too Cool. Drew tags in the match. Scotty hits the ropes and connects with a bulldog. Scotty looks at the crowd and connects with the worm. Mcyntire gets back up and hits a big boot on Scotty. Jinder now tags in and 3MB with a double team move. Jinder covers for a 2 count. Jinder locks in a shoulder lock. Drew tags back in and hits a stalling suplex and a cover for a 2 count. Drew now locks in a shoulder lock. Both men up and Scotty hits a neck breaker to get some distance. Scotty crawls over and tags in Rikishi. Rikishi all over 3MB. Rikishi with a kick to the head of Mahal. Rikishi covers and its broken up by Drew. Rikishi knocks down Mahal and Mcyntire and Christopher comes off the top with the hip hop drop on Drew. Rikishi with a splash on Mahal and covers for the 3 count.

Back on Raw, the legends make their way out to the stage lead by The Godfather. Justin Roberts introduces them all individually. Bad News Barrett now shows up. Barrett says what a mementos occasion. Barrett says he has some bad news. He says flea markets went crazy today selling 25 year old pictures of themselves. He says their futures are doomed. He will forget all their names the second he leaves the arena. He welcomes the legends back.
Back on Raw, Justin Roberts introduces Mean Gene Oakerland. Gene plugs his old hotline. He introduces The New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg says it’s an honor to be with Gene tonight. Road Dogg does his shtick with the crowd. And Billy says he has 2 words for us. Road Dogg introduces CM Punk. The Shield now make their way down to the ring. This will be a one on one match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn will be in CM Punk’s corner.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
Both men lock up and Reigns shoves Punk back. Punk with a headlock. Reigns tries to throw him off, but Punk hangs on. Punk moves over to a side headlock. Reigns backs Punk into the corner. Punk hits the ropes and eats a big shoulder tackle by Reigns. Punk and Reigns stand off as we go to commercial.
Back on Raw, Punk hangs Reigns up on the top rope. Reigns tosses Punk gut first into the ring post. Ref starts the 10 count, but Punk makes it back in the ring. Reigns covers but Punk grabs the rope. Reigns with some right hands. Reigns covers but only for a 1 count. Reigns now with a waistlock. Punk fights to his feet, but Reigns sinches in the waistlock. Punk back to his feet again, and fights out with elbows. Reigns hits a big belly to back suplex and covers for a 2 count. Reigns connects with a big right hand and Punk is down again. Reigns drops an elbow and covers for another 2 count. Reigns goes for another elbow but Punk moves. Reigns charges Punk but eats a jawbreaker. Punk comes off the top with a crossbody. Punk goes for the knee in the corner but Reigns catches him in a bear hug. Punk withe some elbows to break the hold. Punk hits the ropes but gets caught with a Samoan drop. Reigns covers for another 2 count. Reigns sets up Punk for the superman punch, but Punk moves and catches Reigns in the head with a kick. Both men are down now. Punk with kicks to the legs and gut of Reigns. Reigns charges and eats a calf kick. Punk is now on fire. Punk with a neckbreaker and Reigns kicks out at one. Punk with a running knee in the corner and covers for a 2 count. Punk connects with another knee and an elbow. He covers for another 2 count. Punk goes up top and calls for the Macho Man elbow, but Reigns catches him before he can jump. Reigns gives chase. Reigns goes for a superplex, but Punk fights him off. Punk comes off the top and connects with the elbow. Punk now calls for the GTS. Ambrose tosses Road Dogg into the stairs. Punk comes off the top toward Reigns and Reigns connects with the superman punch. Reigns covers for a very close 2 count. Reigns sets Punk up for the spear, but Punk moves and rolls up Reigns for a close 2 count of his own. Both men up and Punk connects with a kick to the head. Punk covers for another 2 count. Punk lifts up Reigns, but Reigns fights out. Punk hits the running knee, but Reigns pushes him off into Ambrose on the apron. Reigns connects with the spear and covers for the 3 count.
Winner by Pinfall – Roman Reigns
After the match, Jake “the snake” Roberts makes his way out to the ring. The Outlaws and Punk comes up behind The Shield and attack them. Punk hits the GTS on Punk. Jake points to his bag, and dumps his snake on top of a fallen Ambrose. Jake celebrates in the ring with The Outlaws and CM Punk as we go off the air.
