Regarding Jim Ross' salary, to clarify the $300,000 figure is solely based on his performer contract as a WWE play-by-play announcer. It doesn't include the money/stock options he garners from his other role as WWE Executive Vice President.

Behind the scenes there were a lot of people second guessing Ric Flair returning to TV in the Chris Jericho segment a couple of weeks back. Shawn Michaels felt he needed a week off to sell his injuries, and Flair was called to fill the void. A lot of people feel that his return, after such a huge send off was wasted because of how last minute it was put together.

The company's seven-day tour of Australia and New Zealand drew a total of 68,000 paid and a total of $5 million over the seven shows. The company was very pleased with the final numbers.
