» TNA did not announce Steve “Mongo” McMichael refereeing the Monster’s Ball match at Bound For Glory at the TNA iMPACT tapings that airs tonight unless they edited something in. They will probably try and push it heavy in the Chicago market but with the Cubs and White Sox both in the playoffs right now, it probably won’t get much attention.
» TNA will tape one episode of iMPACT on 10/14, the Tuesday after Bound For Glory and run the live iMPACT from Las Vegas on 10/23. The crew will return back to Orlando at the iMPACT Zone on 10/27 and 10/28 for two more sets of tapings.
» Nobody in TNA still seems to know about New Japan’s Hiroshi Tanahashi or All Japan’s Akira Raijin coming in, although both Japanese promotions are talking like it will happen. The two may end up coming in to do dark matches or something for Xplosion or maybe some kind of Japanese photo op, but nothing is planned for them as far as angles or storylines go.
