In a breaking story over the night, former UFC Welterweight #1 contender, Jon Fitch, was released from the UFC due to a disagreement between Fitch's management and the UFC.
The disagreement stems from a licensing agreement that the UFC is trying to secure for their upcoming video game called "Undisputed".
MMAScoops.com is now reporting that Fitch has gone directly to UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta to try and resolve the issue. MMAScoops.com is also reporting that Fitch is going to sign off on the video game and continue on his schedule, which will see him facing Akihiro Gono at UFC 94.
