MMAScoops.com is reporting that new UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture are among the fighters who are medically suspended by the The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NASC) following UFC 91.
MMAScoops.com reports that Lesnar has been suspended until 12/16 with no contact during training until 12/7 for precautionary reasons. Couture has been suspended 1/15 with no contact until 12/31, also due to precautionary reasons. The NASC has also issued medical suspensions for Josh Hendricks, Tamdan McCrory, Aaron Riley, and Rafael dos Anjos.
These suspensions are routine following PPVs and are not at all disciplinary. This is VERY common and happens at every event.
