More Headlines:
Brooke Hogan has a cover story in the July edition of Maxim Magazine. She is promoting her new VH-1 series, Brooke Knows Best in the Life and Style section of the magazine. Expect lots more Brooke Hogan publicity in the next week as Brooke Knows Best is scheduled to be debuting in the next few weeks.
Many media reports from Santiago, Chile are reporting how Triple H, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton were advertised to perform at last night’s house show in Santiago however didn’t appear. Randy Orton has been injured for the past couple of weeks so it was obvious he wouldn’t be appearing, however WWE may not have pulled him out of adverts. The local media reported that fans felt that the show was a rip off. Batista and Rey Mysterio who were not advertised, worked the show as well as Shawn Michaels although he is working in “injury” angle on WWE Monday Night Raw. Although Carlito was drafted to the SmackDown brand he is in the tour because they wanted Spanish speaking stars and he has done lots of promotional work for the tour before he was drafted.
Ross Goodridge sent this in: Raw is now being advertised as a three hour show starting at 1 a.m in the UK with Heat before at 12 a.m and no longer just a 2 hour show. Note: With WWE no longer producing Heat anymore, this one hour show prior to Raw will likely be the WWE Classics program that will continued to be syndicated overseas.
Gareth Roberts sent this in: This is a couple of days old now, but I don't think I've seen it mentioned. The BBC news website has a article up discussing Kofi Kingston and how he isn't really from Jamaica: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/7469398.stm.
Joey Styles has a new blog up on the WWE Fan Nation website where he talks about enjoying his new role with WWE.com, if he misses being an announcer for WWE, CM Punk's World Title win and more.
