More Headlines:

I (Ryan Clark) will not be around later tonight or during the first part of tomorrow. Tomorrow (Saturday) is my 27th birthday and I've got lots of plans for tonight and tomorrow so it'll be hard to update. I will definitely be back either late tomorrow night or Sunday morning for sure. I'll resume posting during the day Sunday in time for the SummerSlam PPV later that night. Thanks for understanding and thank you so much for your continued support of the website. I can't thank you enough.

As I noted on Wednesday here on the website, Carlito's long-term future with WWE is once again a topic of discussion within the company. He hasn't been used on television since the draft in late June being traded from Raw to Smackdown, although he has been used on Smackdown/ECW house shows. He also had a new look with dreads and a goatee while appearing at the WWE SummerFest event in Venice Beach, CA last weekend. Believe it or not, Carlito has reportedly been talking with friends about a release from WWE. He does have some options working in Puerto Rico as a top star, but business is now dead there and it would be quite the adjustment to go from working in front of thousands to hundreds. The last time he had talked about quitting WWE he had spoken with AAA about being a full-timer working as the top heel and would work U.S. indy's and NWE overseas. It remains to be seen when his current deal with WWE expires, leaving him open to work for TNA and TNA is said to be interested if he is available with supporters like Dutch Mantel working there.

When Dusty Rhodes switched from the ECW creative staff to Florida Championship Wrestling, the recently released James Curtis lost his biggest supporter. Did anyone notice that he looked like John Laurinaitis?
