COLUMBUS, Ohio — A person of interest was in custody Wednesday after a fatal shooting on the city's east side. The shooting occurred shortly before 4 p.m. at an apartment on North 17th Street, 10TV's Kevin Landers reported.
According to police, a 22-year-old man was shot after answering a knock at his door. He was transported to Grant Medical Center where he later died, police said.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
Police said that three men came to the apartment before the shooting, Landers reported.
