Shawn Michaels is being advertised for several WWE house shows over the next month. This means his "career ending" injury storyline might not last much longer. A steel cage match for the August 23 WWE RAW brand house show is being advertised featuring Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho. John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs. JBL and Chris Jericho is also being advertised as the main event for a couple of RAW house shows after WWE SummerSlam.
A version of this year’s WWE Unforgiven pay-per-view promotional poster has been released. The poster features a sinister looking Kane. Unforgiven will take place on September 7, 2008 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
Although WWE SmackDown is being dropped from the CW Network, the show is still the highest rated show on the network, doubling the network’s next highest rated show, Smallville.
