Fox Searchlight has announced a December 19 release date for "The Wrestler." This was believed to have been done to make sure Mickey Rourke qualifies for an Oscar nomination.

Jake Roberts has been posting reviews of Raw on his MySpace page in recent weeks. He's got a very interesting recapping style and isn't afraid to make some controversial remarks in his reviews. In this week's review of Raw, he praises the Bourne & Mysterio vs. Morrison & Miz match, calling it "the highlight of the year." He also criticizes Beth's showing in her match with Mickie, thinking she was a bit sloppy and careless. He wrote: "Beth, tonight you started out slow, sloppy, and dangerous. Need to get legs under you when you are trying to lift anyone. Injuries happen when picking someone up improperly, and releasing them, improperly. Such as dropping Mickey across top rope, but one of her legs had not cleared your head, which caused her body to twist and unable to take a decent bump on rope or the mat." He also thinks Mickie didn't show as much enthusiasm as usual because she had to do the job. "Although Mickey, your level of excitement was much lower tonight. It should have been higher when doing a job. Hold your head up, remember its not real." In his reviews, Roberts frequently criticizes the writing of the shows, John Bradshaw Layfield and CM Punk. He also praises Santino Marella a lot, as he usually thinks he's the highlight of the show. However, he called his match with the one and only Snitsky on Raw this past week an abortion.

The 9/22 Raw in Cincinnati is advertising a (dark match) main event of CM Punk & Batista vs. Chris Jericho & John Bradshaw Layfield.
