Nothing new to report as of right now regarding Kurt Angle and the status of his neck. He didn't work any of the TNA house show events in Vermont or New York, but did make appearances for the crowd explaining why he wasn't competing. Angle is still scheduled to work tonight's Sacrifice main event for the TNA World Title against Samoa Joe and Scott Steiner. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Angle's approach is that he will work the match tonight and see where he is after that. It remains to be seen if TNA will address the injury on the air tonight.
As noted earlier, Sting & James Storm vs. Team 3D will open tonight's Sacrifice PPV for the Deuces Wild Tag Team Tournament to crown new TNA World Tag Team Champions.
