More Headlines:
Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins was in talks with TNA to write and record an original song for them to use on PPVs and iMPACT!, but those discussions have ended without a deal. Corgan has been a huge wrestling fan for years and was approached by TNA. Corgan was originally ready to do the song for free to help promote TNA and to cross-promote the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins 20th anniversary tour. However, once TNA's legal team got involved, talks broke down. Each side ended up blaming the other for the deal falling apart. One of the problems on the TNA side was apparently the right to use the song on DVDs and another problem was apparently that TNA wanted control over the process of making the song.
TNA's Sacrifice 2008 DVD is due out on Tuesday.
As noted earlier, TNA's Matt Morgan will debut on NBC's American Gladiators on 7/21 under the name of Beast.
TNA is considering holding a PPV internationally following the success of their Great Britain tour.
