The two sides hope to finalize the team's contracts before they expire. TNA is said to be confident in re-signing the duo as WWE doesn't appear to have much interest in bringing the former Dudley Boyz back to the company. Devon is well liked by people in WWE, but Brother Ray has rubbed a lot of people in the rival company the wrong way. One source said, "Devon is guilty by association. No one in WWE has any ill will or bad feelings toward Devon, but Bubba is a detriment to his career." Perhaps the biggest knock against the former Bubba Ray Dudley is that he has a reputation for taking liberties with young wrestlers.
