Ashley Scott, who worked on the TV Series "Jericho" will play the female lead opposite of John Cena in the company's next theatrical film "12 Rounds," which is expected to be released in March 2009

The reason that the WWE wrote Ted DiBiase out of storylines is because he has signed on to do a WWE Films project. Do not expect to see DiBiase anytime soon as he will be starring in WWE Films' second straight-to-DVD movie, The Marine II. John Cena will not be a part of the project, outside of a possible cameo appearance.

The backstage word at last night's Raw taping was that another round of talent releases will be coming shortly. After WWE posted a 37% drop in net income for the third quarter of 2008, they announced plans to cut over $20 million from their budget. A FEW of those budget cuts will come from releasing talent. Elijah Burke, Paul London, Super Crazy, Kenny Dykstra, Lena Yada and Chuck Palumbo have already been cut this month.
