Chris Benoit's name is mentioned in the new Triple H DVD that was officially released this past Tuesday. Triple H notes that he tore his quad while wrestling Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit in a tag team match. A clip of the match featuring Benoit & Jericho is then shown.
According to WrestlingFigs.com, WWE plans on holding three ECW-only house shows in New Hampshire & Massachusetts on July 25, 26 and 27. The 25th show will at Hampton Beach, NH, the 26th show will be in Cohasset, MA at the South Shore Music Circus, and the 27th show will take place in Hyannis, MA at Cape Cod Melody Tent. Cape Cod Melody Tent holds an annual wrestling show and they had TNA do it last summer.
According to ProWrestlingEvents.TK, WWE will be returning to the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. on Monday, July 28, 2008 for a Raw/Heat taping. WWE last held an event in the Nation's Capital in October for Cyber Sunday, and the last television taping took place last March.
