Former WWE champ Batista's official website at www.demon-wrestling.com has issued the following update on The Animal:
"Dave's surgery went well Tuesday to repair his tendon. He's back in Tampa now recovering. Also, since a few people have asked. Batista did not suffer a torn biceps as WWE is reporting on their website. That was the initial fear, but it turned out to be a torn tendon, not the actual muscle. The WWE storyline, which is being reported on their website, is remaining the torn muscle in order to make Legacy's attack seem more fierce. "
