A representative of Jakks announced that The Original Sheik has been signed on for the WWE Classic Superstars action figure line. A two pack with Abdullah the Butcher is in the works.

In TNA-like fashion, second-row seats are still available for WWE's One Night Stand pay-per-view on June 1st at the San Diego Sports Arena. Tickets for the event are available at TicketMaster.com and floor seats are going for a little over $300.

Today's Winnipeg Sun has an article on Mr. Kennedy that has him trying to explain his WWE drug suspension from last year. Kennedy claims that his personal doctor actually purchased the drugs through the Internet that led to his suspension, not him. "I had been receiving medication because I had been injured," Kennedy explains. "I went to the doctor and my levels of testosterone were low, so he prescribed medication. At no point did I ever go out and buy drugs on an Internet pharmacy. My doctor went on the Internet. I had no idea where they were coming from." Kennedy then shifts blame over to himself by saying that it was a mistake on his part. "Look at me. I'm not a big jacked-up guy. In small doses, they can be good for you. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I will never make that mistake again. It was a rough part in my life. It sucked being suspended."

Vince McMahon said during yesterday's WWE shareholders meeting that the annual Tribute to the Troops show will most likely move from the USA Network to NBC. McMahon also added that the show is more important in some ways than WrestleMania simply because "it's the right thing to do."
