Friday's edition of WWE Smackdown scored a 2.3 broadcast rating, up from last week's 2.1 rating.

Steve "Dr. Death" Williams recently got out of the hospital after undergoing surgery for a hernia. Williams, who is 48-years old, said that he thinks this is a sign to retire. He has been working independents occasionally since WWE stopped using his as a trainer.

Ric Flair is looking into writing a second autobiography, likely working with Mark Madden. There is currently no timetable on the project, but this is one of the projects wanted to do independently of WWE.

John Hollis of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is currently working with Lex Luger on an autobiography.
