Mike "The Miz" Mizanin recently did an interview with the Poughkeepsie Journal. He said that he had to work hard to gain the respect of the WWE audience after coming from a background in reality television. "At first, I didn't get a lot of respect from the hardcore WWE fans, but as I progressed, I was working my butt off and they started to respect my abilities. It's been a great transformation from MTV to WWE. It's always been my dream to get to WWE. I worked so hard to become what I am today." He said that he still gets approached about taking part in reality shows, "MTV has been supportive on everything I've ever done," Mizanin said. "Bunim/Murray still calls me for challenges. I have to tell them I'm retired from those and that I am doing exactly what I want to be doing." The Miz also spoke on WWE’s travel schedule saying, "We're on the road 200 days a year and we travel all over the place," Mizanin said of his current lifestyle. "I live out of a suitcase. It's a rough job, but there's nothing I'd rather be doing. It makes it worth it when you have 10,000 or 15,000 fans booing or screaming for you."

In the latest issue of WWE Magazine, Jeff Hardy addressed the 60-day suspension he served earlier this year. "I made a mistake and I paid for it," Hardy states. "That was a huge, huge punishment. I was involved in such a big match heading in, and I missed it. But I think the fans respect the fact that I've confessed to what I did wrong. Throughout my suspension, they tested me two or three times each week. No joke. The testing is very thorough, which is good. You literally have to lift your shirt up to your chest, and drop your pants. Then some guy squats next to you so he can watch you piss." Hardy continued with the following: "There's so much stress that goes along with getting suspended, or even knowing that you might get suspended. To me, it's just not worth it. Jeff Hardy will not get suspended again."
