Following Wednesday’s WEC 36 card, seven fighters have been issued medical suspensions by the Florida State Boxing Commission.
Leading the way is the newly crowned WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown. He has been suspended indefinitely by the commision, he will need a doctors clearance before being re-licensed to fight.
Urijah Faber, Jens Pulver, Jonathan Brookins, Nissen Osterneck and Rafael Dias have also been suspended. Those suspensions will only be 30 days, following their TKO losses Wednesday night.
Although David Ayellan, who suffered the more devastating loss, has been suspended for 60 days.
