For those who missed it, Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes regained the tag team titles on RAW this week. It was a dumb move to take the titles off them in the first place. It appears to me as though plans changed this past week otherwise they would have never taken the titles off them in the first place.

The following was issued on WWE.com: RICHMOND, Va. – To be a WWE Superstar it takes heart, grit and compassion. But, when you’re George Thorogood, the composer of “Bad to the Bone,” you’re always welcomed as an honorary Superstar. Tonight, Thorogood and his band, The Destroyers, enjoyed Raw live at Richmond Coliseum. “[Saxophone player] Buddy Leach has never been to a WWE event live. I’ve been saying once we have a night off, we’re going to attend one. I’ve been saying that for 15 years, but tonight we finally got a chance to,” Thorogood said. “I’m thrilled to be here. I’m looking forward to witnessing a lot of fun tonight.” Since the 1970s, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have been rocking out for fans around the globe. It was the band’s smash album, Bad to the Bone, featuring the classic title track, which made them cultural phenomenons. The hit song has been used in movies and television shows such as, Terminator, Major Payne, Problem Child and Married with Children. “Rock shows and WWE events have similar atmospheres,” recalled Thorogood, an avid WWE fan for several years, who has attended several shows throughout his musical career. “I picked up a lot of show business tips by attending wrestling events, for instance, how to work a crowd. [Sports-entertainment] is a real slice of Americana.” Before the show, Thorogood met with World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Chris Jericho, and his friend, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler. Lawler and Thorogood reminisced about King’s historical matches in the AWA. The rock icon was impressed with CM Punk’s Rib Cage T-shirt, so the champ surprised Thorogood by presenting him with one of his own, which kept a smile on the legend’s face throughout the night.
