SmackDown Draws Larger TV Audience Than RAW Reported by: Tim Brown

The September 12 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown did a 2.5 broadcast rating. In terms of overall audience, SmackDown actually beat the Sept. 15 edition of RAW since CW has a larger base than USA.
While some within WWE view SmackDown as a higher-quality product than RAW, the Monday Night flagship show is still Vince McMahon’s primary focus and is where he focuses most of his time. There will likely be a lot of pressure on Vince to make some major changes to the RAW creative process after drawing a horrible 2.6 rating on USA Network.
