Jim Ross was appeared on Houston radio station 94.5 the Buzz this morning to promote Hall of Fame tickets going on sale this weekend. Ross said Mr. McMahon's return to RAW on Monday will be a "real trainwreck with him and his daughter vying for power." When asked whether Stone Cold will ever wrestle again, Ross said Austin is officially retired and will not wrestle another match because the risk of paralysis is too great. The Hall of Fame induction will be "Officially the closure of his career." Ross said. "He's not going to wrestle again." When asked who will induct Stone Cold, Ross said, "I don't know who's going to induct him," Ross said. "I heard Ric Flair. I would be up for it. If he wants someone else to do, I'm fine, I'm his good pal."
Today, Friday, January 16th, 'The Wrestler' will open in Albany, Albuquerque, Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Cincinnati, Columbus, Hartford, New Haven, Honolulu, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Madison, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Milwaukee, Northampton, Springfield, Orlando, Portland, Rochester, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Boise and St. Louis. So far in its limited release the movie has done $3,076,955 showing only in 18 or less theaters except for this past week when it was bumped to 60. The movie cost around $6 million to produce.
