-- Several business websites including the Wall Street Journal have picked up WWE’s press release about John Cena’s emergency surgery yesterday. The release notes he went under the knife for “injuries received during last Sunday's SummerSlam(R) Pay-Per-View match.” As previously noted, this is just an angle, and he actually had the nagging injury prior to the match.
-- Candice Michelle, Shelton Benjamin and Batista are currently in Denver, CO for the Democratic National Convention. Apparently Candice and Shelton both had interviews on FOX News and CNN. Shawn Michaels, Mr. Kennedy and Diva Mickie James are scheduled for the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
