While Jeff Hardy was pulled from the match due to the attack from earlier, Vickie Guerrero introduced Edge as the third man towards the end. After an appearance from Jeff Hardy, Edge ended up getting the pinfall and winning the belt.
- The World Heavyweight Championship also changed hands tonight as John Cena returned in his hometown of Boston to defeat Chris Jericho in the main event. Cena got the win with a FU after a match that Jericho mostly dominated.
