More Headlines:

- On October 27, WWE will be releasing a trivia book exclusively available on WWEShop.com entitled 10 Count Trivia: Events and Championships.

- The Corbin Public Library in Corbin, Kentucky is promoting Teen Read Week by giving away subscriptions to WWE Kids Magazine and entering contest winners in WWE’s WrestleMania Reading program. Basically, the kids read books, keep a log on how many they read, and then receive a free sub when they submit their log to the librarian.

- As noted last week, WWE’s SummerSlam 2008 pay-per-view only drew 467,000 buys with 294,000 in North America, based on early numbers. This would mean that the UFC pay-per-view event held a week earlier featuring GSP vs. Jon Fitch and Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring doubled SummerSlam, with 595,000 buys. With late numbers coming in, this year’s SummerSlam may end up doing 500,000 buys.

- We don’t have a rating breakdown for the show yet, but the RAW main event a few weeks back with DX reuniting to take on Lance Cade and Chris Jericho going into No Mercy did a 3.67 rating and added 858,000 new viewers to the broadcast. The rating is nothing special regarding other main events for the year, but it’s good compared to recent months and shows strong growth.
