WWE Announces PPV Buyrates For Q3: Down Almost 10%

World Wrestling Entertainment listed the following PPV buys in their Third Quarter Results press release:
-- Great American Bash 2008 drew 196,000 buys. This is down 14% from 2007's Bash, which did 229,000 buys.
-- Summerslam 2008 drew 477,000 buys. This is down 11% from SummerSlam 2007, which did 537,000 buys.
-- Unforgiven 2008 drew 211,000 buys. This number is up slightly from 2007's show, which did 210,000 buys.
Overall, WWE's Third Quarter PPVs were down 9.43% from last year.
