The 5/26 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW pulled just a 2.9 cable rating. The show did hours of 2.87 and 2.94, with only three quarter-hours reaching the 3.0 mark.

Aside from Christmas, New Year’s, Independence Day and an October 8, 2007 edition of RAW which did a 2.8 against Monday Night Football and a series-deciding MLB playoff game, this is the lowest number for RAW since December 15, 1997. This leaves little room for the poor rating to be blamed on the Memorial Day holiday.

The company hopes to bring back viewers by giving away a million dollars on live TV, a move Eric Bischoff pulled during WCW’s ratings downfall.
