In a dark match held prior to Backlash going on the air in Baltimore, Maryland, WWE Tag Team champions The Miz and John Morrison defeated Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang.
After the Backlash PPV went off the air, new WWE champion Triple H continued his celebration in the ring as confetti rained down in the arena. Nothing beyond that, nothing involving other talents.
