All Things Special Thrown Out On Raw Tonight

WWE missed out on a huge opportunity if they could have had the idea that Brock Lesnar could be in the elimination chamber pay per view Match if Daniel Bryan lost.

Also could have had Paul Heyman come out there and protest over this matchup between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. The Show once again felt something that was lacking and something that the WWE could have added to this show instead they took the safe route and went with what they know.

Big names does not always mean big shows but sometimes small names means a lame show.

I’ve mixed feelings about what I saw tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw. WWE did some good and some bad but at least they have a direction in where they are going.

Even if it was in the Nebraska the CM Punk chants were shown tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw. With names like John Cena Brock Lesnar and CM Punk missing from tonight’s telecast.

With all the chants from the WWE Universe chanted. it was a on failing this edition off Monday Night Raw. Even though everyone in their grandparents has given an opinion on CM Punk. I do however think that he is a key superstar in the WWE program.

This show was not the best or the worst. The fans were disrespecting in any and every WWE Superstar with the chants having no meaning to the match they were watch at the time was simply disrespectful.

I like that the WWE Universe is showing their passion for the favorite superstar in CM Punk. However that does not necessarily mean that every match in every chant that they cheer is the right thing to do.

The Steel Cage Match Apparently Has No Meaning Anymore

The steel cage match is meant for people to be kept away from the action. It is meant for the outsiders to simply stay outside. The way you win the match is something either by escaping the cage from climbing or escape the cage by exiting the door.

Apparently WWE forgot the rules of the steel cage match the New Age Outlaws taking on Cody Rhodes and Goldust on tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw.

Michael Cole announced prior to the match that the only way that you could win the match is by pin fall or submission. With that being said why in the world did we have a regular tag team match inside a steel cage?

They acted like it was a normal tag team match just with a steel cage surrounding them. The cage was more of a gimmick instead of an equalizer in this match. I love still cages but this is simply not needed in this contest.

Other than the giant moonsult taken by Cody Rhodes from the top of steel cage. There was really nothing new to this match that we we’ve already seen in the past.

With matches like the Hardy Boys taking on the Dudley Boys. Any of the new age outlaw matches from Attitude Era. This match was like it was lacking something during the entire match. One thing is for sure give it up for Cody Rhodes with the giant moonsult of the top of the cage.

After the Cody Rhodes and Goldust lost his match I have no idea where they go from here other than feuding with each other at Wrestle Mania 30.

Daniel Bryan Versus Randy Orton Made No Sense On Raw

Are main event was Daniel Bryan taking on Randy Orton. Randy Orton is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is the current face of the WWE. In the eyes of the Authority. With that being said Michael Cole said that this match could impact the thought process of the authority on who is the face of the WWE.

For months the authority has been against Daniel Bryan and his WWE Championship chase. All of a sudden now they are against their chosen champion in Randy Orton. Now they are going with the fan favorite Daniel Bryan simply because the fans are behind him. Are we supposed to believe what’s the authority says?

The main event had no logic. If Daniel Bryan won this match what would change in his role? Would the authority strip Randy Orton of being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion? Would they put the championship on Daniel Bryan is he had won?

No they would not. Yes it was a heck of a match but in reality there was no logic behind it.

The match went 26 minutes but if you take away the last 5 minutes of the match was it that great?

You see these guys have a match in the past which was a total of three pay per view matches in late 2013.

For some odd reason they even put Kane as someone who was interfering in this contest. This shows you who they truly have belief in and that man is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton.

After Kane and Randy Orton beat down Daniel Bryan it was more of a flat finish to what was a excellent main event of Raw.
