AEW Revolution is scheduled for this Saturday night, and now that the go-home episode of Dynamite has aired, we have a firmer grasp of which wrestlers will be participating in the pay-per-view and which men and women are being left out in the cold.

As always, cards are subject to change and there could be any number of alterations to this lineup with surprise appearances, impromptu matches and so on, so nothing is truly set in stone. However, as far as the event is currently being advertised, the following talent from the All Elite Wrestling roster is not being promoted as part of the program.

It’s your call to judge whether these missing stars are being left off the card for justifiable reasons or not, so let’s take a look at the superstars missing from AEW Revolution.

From the Men’s Division

— Anthony Ogogo: He has yet to debut.

— Austin Gunn: Gunn has only wrestled on Dark and is more of a signing for the future than the present.

— Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent): Like many other tag teams, Best Friends had a chance to earn a title shot in the battle royal, but failed. That more than explains their absence on this card.

— Brandon Cutler: Cutler has yet to win a match. Since he’s a jobber, there’s no room for him on the card.

— The Butcher and The Blade: These two were another failed duo in the tag title shot No. 1 contender’s battle royal match.

— The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver): This stable also failed to win the tag title battle royal. However, Stu Grayson and Evil Uno will face SCU.

— The Hybrid 2 (Angélico & Jack Evans): These two were another failed duo in the tag title shot No. 1 contender’s battle royal match.

— Jimmy Havoc: What has this guy been up to? They featured him prominently for so many months and he’s been completely MIA for the past couple of weeks. That’s very strange.

— Joey Janela / Kip Sabian: These two have been feuding, but it’s run a lot of its course already and they’ve had their fights. Unless this would have been a culmination of the feud in a gimmick match, it doesn’t need to be on this card.

— Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus & Marko Stunt): This stable also failed to win the battle royal for the tag title shot.

— The Lucha Brothers (Fénix & Pentagón Jr.): While they weren’t involved in the battle royal, The Lucha Brothers failed to win something else. They had an actual shot at the tag team titles and lost to Page and Omega on the February 19th edition of Dynamite.

— Luther: The Nightmare Collective has been scrapped, so there isn’t anything for Luther to do right now while they try to sort out alternative options.

— Michael Nakazawa: Outside of being fodder for people to attack to get to Omega, Nakazawa hasn’t had anything to do in months.

— Peter Avalon: Sssshhhhhhh.

— Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen): These two were another failed duo in the tag title shot No. 1 contender’s battle royal match.

— Proud-N-Powerful (Ortiz & Santana): They failed to earn a tag title shot. However, I fully expect them and all members of The Inner Circle to appear in some fashion on this show via interference.

— QT Marshall: Marshall is on the low end of the spectrum on the roster. He isn’t someone they’d prioritize for a match.

— Shawn Spears: Over the past bunch of weeks, Spears has been on the lookout for the perfect tag team partner. He’s not come close to finding that. Of course he wouldn’t be in the tag title hunt or anything like that, then.

— Sonny Kiss: Kiss is still on the low end of the roster with only a few matches and even fewer wins. With no storyline going on involving him, what could he possibly do?

— Strong Hearts (CIMA & T-Hawk): Battle royal. Didn’t win. You know the score.

— Wardlow: He’ll accompany MJF, that’s for sure.

From the Women’s Division

— Allie / The Bunny: No Butcher. No Blade. No Bunny.

— Awesome Kong: Supposedly, Kong’s injuries are keeping her out of the mix.

— Bea Priestley: She’s been MIA for a long enough time that I forget the last thing she did, to be honest.

— Big Swole: Although she stepped up to Nyla Rose, they chose to go with Kris Statlander for the challenger. That makes sense, as Statlander was ranked higher.

— Brandi Rhodes: I assume she’ll be ringside for Cody’s match.

— Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.: They’ve been investing lots of time in building Baker’s heel character. Not everyone can wrestle on every card. This is okay.

— Emi Sakura: Creative has nothing. There are bigger fish to fry.

— Hikaru Shida: Simply put, they went with Statlander. Shida’s time to challenge for the title will come.

— Leva Bates: As the top jobber of this division, you can rest assure Leva Bates will almost always be passed over for a spot on every card.

— Mel: The dissolution of The Nightmare Collective has left Mel in limbo.

— Penelope Ford: If Kip Sabian and Joey Janela were to continue their feud here, Ford would have had a role in that match. However, that isn’t happening, so that explains her absence.

— Riho: Riho lives in Japan and is harder to book for these events than some others. Plus, she dropped the title. She’s not the priority anymore. Nyla Rose is.

— Sadie Gibbs: She’s another one who has been MIA long enough that I’ve lost track of her.

— Shanna: Shanna recently lost to Kris Statlander. She’s not one of the highest ranked women on the roster, so there’s no point in her wrestling on this show.

— Yuka Sakazaki: We’ve yet to see Sakazaki since Baker injured her mouth. I’m assuming at some point post-Revolution, she’ll come back wanting revenge.

Do you think these men and women or any others not on this list should have been booked on the card in some fashion? How would you have utilized them if given the opportunity? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
