According to reports, Ricochet has finished up his commitments with Lucha Underground. Prince Puma, otherwise known as Ricochet, reportedly finished up at the last set of TV tapings. The last set of tapings were for the final shows of season three. There is no word on if they will work out a deal for season four (if there is one) but it doesn’t appear that way.
For those wondering, Ricochet won’t be in WWE any time soon due to his contract with Lucha Underground, which says that he can’t appear for a televised promotion in the United States until the content he’s filmed has aired. That means season three of Lucha Underground will have to air before he’s able to work for WWE or any other indy promotions who have television deals.
Ricochet will still take indy bookings through the fall and work for NJPW in the winter. This would leave a possible WWE debut open for next year.
