Welcome to another edition of eWN Round Table, where we gather some of the most active writers here on eWrestlingNews and share the platform to answer some questions surrounding a centralized topic, upcoming event, etc.

This is meant to showcase the potential for both a wide range of perspectives as well as how sometimes, there can be a group consensus no matter what your viewpoint is, so we also invite all of you to join in on the discussion by answering these questions yourself in the comments section below.

For this particular volume, we’ll be focusing on the upcoming NXT TakeOver: In Your House event set for this Sunday on the WWE Network.

Participants for this round = Anthony Mango, Richard Staple, Ethan Absler and Kyle Dunning.

1) “What type of environment would you like to see Velveteen Dream and Adam Cole compete in for their special championship match?”

MANGO: I was really hoping for some kind of play off Velveteen Dream’s character like The Dreamatorium or The Velveteen Dream Experience or whatever, with purple lights and maybe even something odd like a velvet ring mat or something. This idea of cars in the parking lot doesn’t strike me as something that fits these two.

STAPLE: Some kind of special gimmick match that exploits Velveteen’s character. I can think of no better circumstance to give him the title.

ABSLER: Similar to what we’ve seen in the past with WWE and AEW, some sort of secluded ring in a spot where the two can do battle alone in the middle of nowhere would be a perfect fit for Cole vs Dream. Whether the ring is in an open field, a warehouse, or a stadium, it should be a cool location that allows for lots of creative decisions and is pleasing to the eye.

DUNNING: Something cinematic. I think Dexter Lumis is going to play a part as he teased kidnapping the rest of the Undisputed Era this week. It leaves Cole & Dream to go one-on-one in the local area. Maybe they revisit the area they took Dream out? Either way, it’s essential that Dream wins here.
