7) “How would you book the next step in the Otis/Mandy Rose/Dolph Ziggler love triangle?”

MANGO: It’s weird, as I don’t know WWE’s endgame with this. I can’t see Otis and Mandy being some long term package deal, especially with no crowd reactions. I had thought maybe they’d do something with Sonya Deville ending up with Mandy, but they held back on that. Somehow, I feel like if this is going to end, Otis has to win, but Mandy has to choose not to be with either of them and just stick with her friend. Or, Sonya is revealed to have sent the V-Day text, conspiring with Ziggler, and Mandy shacks up with Otis for mixed tag matches going forward until they go their separate ways. I honestly don’t know where WWE wants to end this, so I don’t know how I’d book it.

MITCHELL: I was pitching this idea for Rusev-Lana-Lashley, maybe it’ll work with Otis-Mandy-Ziggler. Have Otis and Ziggler go so hard and so brutal, that Mandy starts to have sympathy for Otis. Ziggler can win the match but lose the girl, and then BOOM, give us this glitch hacker guy to go after Ziggler to make sure Ziggler still pays for what he did to Otis in the first place.

ABSLER: I would love to see Otis fall in love with another woman, making Mandy jealous and forcing her to break up with Ziggler. Now Otis must choose between his new and old loves while fighting off an angry Ziggler.

JAY: Don’t know. Don’t care. Why bother. I’d rather see Heavy Machinery back in NXT to help bolster a depleted tag team division.

STAPLE: Remember when Trish Stratus turned on Chris Jericho and cost him a match against Christian at WrestleMania 20? I’d have something similar. Have Mandy cost Otis the match, form a heel couple between Ziggler and Mandy and have Otis be built as a more sympathetic baby face.

COOK: It’s going to be interesting to see if the apparent real-life budding romance between Dolph & Mandy plays a role here. I’m not ruling out all of that talk being a work because certainly Dolph’s been around the block long enough to know how to get people talking. Then again, Dolph has quite the reputation, and nobody would be surprised if he got Mandy feeling randy. The next step has to be establishing that Sonya Deville was involved in the text fiasco. We saw her talking to Dolph last week on SmackDown. It’s pretty obvious that Sonya has decided that if she can’t have Mandy, then Dolph is a better choice than Otis. One can understand her logic. Dolph is higher on the food chain. Dolph has more interesting friends. Otis is…well…Otis. I figure Sonya gets involved in the match somehow, and we’re left with something of a cliffhanger. I also figure the story suffers from the obvious lack of a WrestleMania Moment, which there will be none of this year, and things have to get drug out.

SCAFIDE: This feud should end at WrestleMania. Otis wins but doesn’t get Mandy. Dolph goes in for a kiss, but Mandy slaps Dolph, and then Otis too. Send her off (maybe with Sonya), and just end that triangle.
