8) “Which option would you rather see happen: a) Drew McIntyre wins the WWE title here. b) Brock Lesnar retains and they just do a rematch down the line where McIntyre wins. c) Lesnar retains and someone else eventually dethrones The Beast Incarnate.”

MANGO: All three have problems. I can’t imagine McIntyre winning at Mania will feel right, nor will he have the momentum to carry the company going forward. A rematch is lame, but at least if it can happen soon enough in front of a crowd (let’s say May, which isn’t even realistic) then that might be best. The problem with C is that McIntyre will never get this momentum back and he’ll likely never win the world title if he doesn’t now. I think I’d go with A and hope for the best.

MITCHELL: Definitely NOT option C, that sucks too much for McIntyre. I want the story to go on as intended, so give us A) McIntyre winning. Then the first Raw back to normal can be a HUGE celebration. Option B will only sit well if there’s controversy, like a missed ropebreak or a Heyman distraction.

ABSLER: I want Drew to win the title here. I have had enough of Lesnar as Champion for years now and McIntyre is a worthy opponent.

JAY: B is the only right decision. I’m not a fan, but Mcintyre has clearly worked his ass off for this moment. It’s always nice to win, but it would mean more in front of an adoring crowd.

STAPLE: Audience or not, Drew has earned his due.

COOK: There’s not a perfect answer here. Not a moment that will make Drew McIntyre into the future face of WWE. Winning at this WrestleMania won’t help him at all. Losing at this WrestleMania won’t help him at all, and might make him into that Lex Luger type of character that can’t win the big one. I would like to see him win, because he deserves to hold that championship. Might not work in the long run, but at least he got that chance. We’ve seen many people lose a chance at a championship due to circumstances and never get a chance to hold it again. This was going to be Drew’s moment. The world fell apart in the meantime. Should we punish him for that? I don’t think so.

SCAFIDE: I think I highlighted most of it during question 5. But here’s my best prediction. Drew wins the WWE Championship on Night 1. Brock goes after Goldberg and wins the Universal Championship on Night 2. Roman Reigns makes a run for Brock setting up a future SummerSlam or WrestleMania 37 match where Roman eventually dethrones The Beast.

Big thanks to everyone who took part in this edition!
