Executive Order: How to book Cesaro

Good day to all. Before I start, kuddos to Kyle Dunning on his amazing masterpiece of Chris Benoit and his final days. It was very detailed and a very good read. Now to not digress on the topic at hand, Tyson Kidd in the infamous team with Cesaro will be out for the next 14 months after sustaining a neck injury, at the hands of Samoa Joe. Not to point any figures like Bret Hart, but Joe has been maneuvering the move quite a long time, and although it is dangerous, I believe on the part of Joe, it was an honest mistake. The thing now, is that Cesaro is left in the rumble of dismay after Kidd’s injury, and I believe he will fall deeply down the card (WWE Superstars here we come). Cesaro being lost in the shuffle is evident after his loss to Kevin Owens, which is explainable since Owens is building momentum for his match against John Cena, but WWE why did it have to be Cesaro!!!

To start off, I am not a Cesaro mark, but I believe he has “wrestling skills” that should not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, Cesaro will be lost in the shuffle, because let’s see WWE doesn’t have a perfect track record of pushing superstars after a member is injuries of their respected team. Cesaro is simply going through a transition period and I use that term loosely because he will lose a lot and simultaneously he would gain a lot. That might not make sense to most of you but he will gain momentum from the fans from losing and you, the lovable yet controversial IWC. Although he would gain a lot from the internet, let’s face it WWE doesn’t listen to the IWC. If they listened to the IWC, your Swiss Superhero Cesaro would get a push, Kofi Kingston would win a MITB, and we would live in happy land. Through that transition period, Cesaro will catch “Kingston syndrome.” Kofi Kingston as we all know is the wrong person in the wrong place always at the wrong time. That was self evident in 2011, correct me if I’m wrong, when Evan Borne from Air Boom tore his leg. Air Boom was gaining momentum but it came to a halt, and Kofi Kingston broke the glass window when that team came to a screeching halt, because he was unsafe let’s say he didn’t wear his seatbelt in a drag race in the WWE. Kingston lost matches, that’s Kofi momentum but he remained renowned by becoming the “Mid-Card King.” He would win a U.S title and Intercontinental championship here and there and would remain a mid carder nothing more, nothing less.

I use Kofi Kingston as an analogy because let’s face it Cesaro will remain the same way. To book Cesaro, I will begin using realism, realism that comes straight from the unforgettable WWE playbook. But, I will make Cesaro’s reign as let’s say the Intercontinental champion mean something, with a feud with his former tag team partner, Tyson “injury prone” Kidd. You know what else is good, we have a valet named Natalya in the equation and we will pair Cesaro with her, for the JEALOUSY FACTOR. I hate to do this to you guys, but we will be connecting Total Divas to the equation, as a factor to the realism ( I know wrestling is fake) to the feud. Ryback will be a unstoppable feud in the following months, while Cesaro is building up momentum. He will unsuccessful answer John Cena’s U.S open challenge, but he will nearly win. Natalya will be the unstoppable force in this equation to, as she beats Paige, after Paige at Summerslam beats the Bella’s regime for the Divas championship. Strap at hand, Natalya will help Cesaro win the Intercontinental championship, after Ryback holds the championship for the next several months. Tyson Kidd, is still on the sidelines but he is looking on as his wife, is forming an alliance with Cesaro. He shows his distaste on Total Divas, threatening as he does every periodical season to divorce Natalya. For storyline purposes, they get divorced and Cesaro continues his unstoppable regime with Natalya.

In order for the duo to stay fresh and relevant, they will not join the Authority, so we could try something innovative. I know you guys are reading this and saying we have already seen duos between different genders, and that will pretty much be the same. Remember I am using realism coming from a WWE standpoint and this is how I see this. The climax will not come until Kidd returns from injury. Cesaro will have a phenomenal year, beating out Ryback several times for the coveted Intercontinental championship. He will have two semi-climax moments by lasting nearly an hour in the Rumble, even making it to the final four and also beating the Big Show at Wrestlemania 32, with a Swiss punch and slamming him, giving him a rub, such as he had at Wrestlemania 30. Tyson Kidd will return from injury with a vengeance for vindication and attempting to get back his wife, although he divorced her. In lame us terms, this will be a revamped Hardy/Edge rivalry, if it could even be duplicated. My catalyst for making this rivalry, stems from making three superstars relevant. Cesaro/Kidd were building momentum and hate crowd, especially me were getting behind them. This rivalry could culminate several PPV’s and it will indeed make the Intercontinental stay relevant. I am not to sure about the outcome between the rivalry, but Cesaro could use the rub more as I believe Kidd is more injury prone and Cesaro with his body build physique could lead this company towards the future. As for Natalya, she will lose the title to Paige after Kidd distracts her at WWE Extreme Rules. Guys tell me what you think and bash me if you don’t like the blog. Comments only make my post better and could improve want I do in the future. Thanks.
