THE 30-MAN ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL

And so without further delay, here are my bold predictions regarding WrestleMania XXX:

THE ANDRE THE GIANT BATTLE ROYAL WILL BE BUMPED TO THE PRE-SHOW

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal which was announced by Hulk Hogan on the March 10th, 2014 edition of Monday Night RAW will feature most of the male wrestlers who are not booked for the PPV. Among the 30 competitors will include Sheamus, Big Show, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, and many others, including a few surprises. With a match that features big time talent, you would expect this match to be on the main card, right?

Well, not so fast. With three of the matches (Triple H-Bryan, Undertaker-Lesnar, and the WWE Championship) are each expected to average about 40 minutes each (which includes video packages, entrances, and introductions), not to mention Cena-Wyatt will get plenty of time as well. Add the lengthy introduction by Hogan, “America the Beautiful,” a performance from Kid Rock, and backstage segments and promos, this would result in the Andre the Giant battle royal to be demoted to the two-hour preshow.

It’s sad, considering plenty of talents who’ve worked so hard all year only to get bumped off the main PPV.

VINCE McMAHON WILL COST TRIPLE H HIS MATCH AGAINST DANIEL BRYAN

Let’s face it. Triple H has become the uber-villain in WWE as of late as he, along with his wife Stephanie McMahon, have made lives miserable for babyface wrestlers, none more so than The Yes Man himself, Bryan.

The Game will once again use his many tricks by having some member of The Authority (possibly Kane or The New Age Outlaws) to help him defeat Bryan and advance to the WWE Championship match, but…

I expect a huge swerve when Vince McMahon makes his shocking return to the WWE by announcing that because of outside interference, Triple H is not the winner and demands that the start be restarted. Bryan then makes Triple H submit and it’s Bryan who advances to the WWE Championship match. This will also plant the seeds for the Vince McMahon vs. Triple H power struggle storyline which will culminate with a match at SummerSlam.

A NEW DIVAS CHAMPION WILL BE CROWNED

A.J. Lee has been Divas Champion since last year’s WWE Payback PPV and has managed to successfully defended it to practically every Diva on the roster.

Now that Lee will be facing thirteen (count ’em) challengers which includes her BFF Tamina Snuka, look for a new champion to finally end Lee’s lengthy reign. It will most likely be a cast member from Total Divas, preferably either Brie or Nikki Bella.

THE UNDERTAKER’S WRESTLEMANIA WIN STREAK WILL CONTINUE

After successfully winning every WrestleMania match in his lustrous career, The Undertaker has his most difficult challenge yet when he faces Brock Lesnar. Although Paul Heyman may help his client defeat The Undertaker, not even Heyman’s distraction will be enough for Lesnar to end The Undertaker’s win streak.

DANIEL BRYAN WILL WIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP

When it was announced that Batista would be returning to the WWE after a four-year hiatus, it looked like that he would be pushed as one of the WWE’s top babyfaces.

What Batista didn’t count on (or the WWE, for that matter) was that the WWE Universe saw him as another veteran trying to take the main event spot away from their new “it boy” Daniel Bryan. To the WWE Universe, Bryan has become one of their favorite Superstars with his underdog persona.

As a result, the WWE Creative decided to book a triple threat match for the WWE Championship as Bryan is expected to defeat Triple H (thanks to Vince McMahon) facing Batista and current WWE Champion Randy Orton.

Look for Bryan to get the victory here, ending WrestleMania XXX on a high or should I say, “Yes!” note.
