Get to Know All Elite Wrestling’s Big Swole

All Elite Wrestling is having its next pay-per-view event in Chicago on Saturday, February 29th, 2020. The company has been quite successful at this point and they are establishing new stars each week. One of the rising stars in the women’s division is Big Swole.

Aerial Hull is just five foot five inches but she packs quite a punch. She served in the United States Air Force as a fire truck mechanic before she started her wrestling career. Post-military, Hull began her wrestling training in South Carolina under George South. She debuted in 2015 Queens of Heart. After a year with them, she moved on to SHINE Wrestling. She would face the indie stars such as Priscilla Kelly and Kiera Hogan. Under the ring name Aerial Monroe, she would win the SHINE Tag Team Championships. Monroe was toured through the indies, landing in other promotions such as RISE, where she was the 2019 Wrestler of the Year and a former Phoenix of the Rise Champion.

Monroe had two stints with the WWE, one in 2016 and another in 2018. In 2016, she jobbed to Nia Jax, similar to fellow AEW star Britt Baker. She got another tryout when she was chosen to compete in the second Mae Young Classic. Zeuxis defeated her in the first round. Aerial also has a different tie to WWE, as she is married to Cedric Alexander and the two of them have a daughter, Adessah.

After only four years on the circuit, she performed well enough that AEW offered her a chance. Under the ring name Big Swole, she debuted at AEW All Out in the Casino Battle Royal in July. In November, Swole competed on AEW Dark in tag team action. A few days later on another episode of AEW Dark, she had her first singles match against Hikaru Shida. She finished 2019 with AEW Dark matches with the likes of Emi Sakura and Shanna.

As it currently stands, Big Swole has a 2020 singles record of 2-1, 3-5 in her AEW career. AEW officially signed her to a contract back in December of 2019. The fans have seen Swole a few times on Dynamite but are seeing her more. The more impressive thing is she seems to be in the mix of the title picture. The authorities backstage must be impressed with her maturity as a tough heel with a badass attitude in the company and we should expect her to climb the rankings and be more involved with the top stars: Britt Baker, Riho, Nyla Rose, and Kris Statlander.
