All Elite Wrestling is debuting on television October 2nd on TNT. After several sold-out PPVs already under their belt, we have seen the many faces of AEW. Let’s get to know one of the top female talents on the roster and the resident dentist, Britt Baker D.M.D.
Brittany “Britt” Baker is just 28 years old and has just over five years of wrestling experience to her name. Baker began her wrestling career at Internation Wrestling Cartel in western Pennsylvania. After just one year of training and competing, Baker found herself making her WWE debut. She jobbed to Nia Jax on Raw in a one-off segment.
As the former inaugural IWC Women’s Champion, she faced the likes of Marti Belle, LuFisto, and Ray Lyn. At the All-In event, Baker was booked Madison Rayne, Chelsea Green, and Tess Blanchard in a four-way match. While she was unsuccessful in the match, Baker impressed Cody and the Young Bucks. It helped her land a job at AEW.
Since debuting for the company, she has appeared on three of the four PPV events. Her debut was at Double or Nothing and she won a four-way match against Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, and Kylie Rae. At Fight For the Fallen, Baker saw tag team action alongside Riho. Her team lost to Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima. Baker suffered a slight concussion in the match and also ignited a rivalry with Priestley. Most recently at All Out, she was part of the women’s Casino Battle Royale. The rivalry with Bea Priestley continued when Baker targeted Bea as she entered the match. The two women would be in the final three with Nyla Rose. Once eliminated, Bea helped Nyla Rose win by assisting in taking out Baker.
In a short time, Baker has established herself against some top females in the industry. Her character as a dentist is factual in real life. Baker is a practicing dentist at a private practice in Florida. She is over as a babyface and is already in an intense rivalry that should be a highlight on weekly television. She came close to being in the inaugural title match and is going to be a bright young star for the company going forward.
