With WWE PPV Royal Rumble coming near, people are speculating different outcomes of the famous traditional Royal Rumble match. The match has been known to make careers, though WWE has recently proven that terrible bookings will instead break careers. Without further ado, this is my idea of how the booking should go:
The Triple Threat match at Royal Rumble should end up with either Brock winning and holding the championship for a long period (unlikely) or Rollins scoring a pinfall over Cena.
Scenario 1: Brock holding the title for some more time
Seth Rollins with The Authority and Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman will keep on feuding with many unsuccessful attempts to cash in until MITB PPV where the MITC contract is about to expire. Rollins challenges Brock to come out for the last time at the PPV, then Heyman turns on Brock, siding with Rollins (new Heyman guy), and they all beat down Brock. Make Brock look strong by perhaps having them tie him down or lock his hands up for Rollins to pin him? No?
Scenario 2: Rollins winning the title.
This will start a new stronger reign of The Authority, while not making Lesnar look weak, allowing him to leave for UFC (rumor). But… The MITB briefcase???!! Yes, Rollins will announce that as long as it’s not one year yet, he’ll hold the briefcase as his Plan-B just in case he loses his title at any time.
But wait, who’s gonna win the Royal Rumble match?
My choice: Daniel Bryan or Dean Ambrose.
if Daniel Bryan: It’s a popular decision for Bryan to win the rumble in his return, but! That doesn’t mean that he has to win the title. With Rollins holding the title (a match of Bryan vs Lesnar, I don’t wanna see that), The Authority can interfere and screw up the match at WrestleMania, letting Rollins retain and furthering Bryan’s feud with Triple H and Steph.
if Dean Ambrose: he wins the rumble with Bryan either eliminated by Roman Reigns or John Cena (turning them into a huge heel? No?) or screwed out of the match by The Authority, thus furthering their feud.
With Rollins successfully defending the title on numerous occasions despite some tensions with Ambrose, Rollins announces at the MITB PPV that it’s been his best year and he’s going to relinquish the MITB contract tomorrow night on Raw.
Then later that night at the PPV, Ambrose wins the new MITB briefcase, starting a new lunatic-awesome feud with Ambrose trying to cash in when Rollins announces the relinquishing on Raw and Ambrose giving a whole new year of nightmares for The Authority.
Yes! I’m a Rollins and Ambrose mark and I want Rollins’ Authority to look strong!

Additional Booking: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. CM Punk
Imagine Austin ready to come back to the ring again, announces on Raw, gets cut off by The Authority (yep!), gets beat down, Punk’s music “Cult of Personality” hits, Punk runs in to save. At Wrestlemania (or any PPV) the tag team match is set (to test Austin’s ring performance?). Punk and Austin win and they celebrate. Austin drinks beers as usual and hands one to Punk. The crowd is in shock! Punk stares at Austin’s face with anger and slaps the beer can out of Austin’s hand. Then, it sets up a whole new Punk vs. Austin feud with a year in the making. Austin giving Punk a beer bath? Punk giving Austin a Pepsi (or Coca Cola) bath? Punk trying to turn Austin straight-edge? Punk destroying or drives on Austin’s car? Austin trying to mess around with AJ? Punk’s father alcoholic background? Breathalyser? More beers? Who’s the better Paul Heyman guy??
