As noted earlier, WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund revealed on Twitter that legendary wrestler and promoter of the AWA, Verne Gagne passed away at the age of 89 on Monday night.
Ric Flair wrote the following on Twitter about Gagne’s death:
