A video package hyping up Lashley vs. Mahabali Shera airs at the beginning of Impact Wrestling. It’s revealed that EC3 vs. Davey Richards will serve as the main event.

Singles Match: Lashley vs. Mahabali Shera

Shera immediately blasts Lashley with a clothesline. He follows up with some punches and kicks on his grounded opponent. Lashley responds with a huge powerbomb. He beats Shera up in the corner. Lashley connects with a snap suplex for a two-count.

-Commercial Break-

The action has spilled to the outside. Lashley sends Shera crashing to the ring steps. Lashley leaps off the apron, but is caught and Shera scoop slams him to the floor. Back in the ring, Shera hits the gorilla press slam. He goes for the Sky High, but Lashley escapes and connects with the Spear to move on to the semifinals of the World Title Series.

Winner: Lashley

Video is shown highlighting the series runs of Eric Young and Tigre Uno. EY guarantees a win over Uno to move on to the semifinals.

-Commercial Break-

TNA hypes up an interview with Dixie Carter later in the show. Jessie Godderz gives Matt Hardy credit for putting younger talent on the map, but says he will kill Matt’s dream of recapturing the world title.

With EY and Uno in the ring, EY says he’s moving on to the semifinals no matter what. He claims Uno will be hurt and wants him to leave before he suffers the consequences. Uno pretends to leave the ring, but hits a springboard dropkick and the match is underway.

Singles Match: Tigre Uno vs. Eric Young

Uno uses his quickness to throw EY for a loop. He connects with a hurricanrana. EY finally catches Uno and hits a powerslam for a two-count. EY sends Uno to the corner and hammers away. EY hits a backbreaker, but doesn’t earn a three-count.

-Commercial Break-

EY is still in control and this time he synchs up a headlock. Uno finally gets some momentum going when he jumps off the steps and hits a hurricanrana. Uno connects with a leg drop from the top turnbuckle, but EY kicks out. Uno connects with a hurricanrana from the top rope, but can’t secure the victory.

Uno goes for yet another hurricanrana, but this time EY hits the powerbomb. He then hits the Piledriver to earn his spot in the semifinals.

Winner: Eric Young

A hype video for Matt Hardy vs. Jessie Godderz plays. Matt calls Jessie a strong kid, but that the only person who can be called the man is the one with the world title. He promises to deliver a Twist of Fate and a victory.

-Commercial Break-

EY claims Uno attacked him from behind and says he was nice enough to give Uno a chance to leave the ring. He claims everything before the semifinals was a warmup.

Singles Match: Matt Hardy vs. Jessie Godderz

They tie up and Matt gets in a headlock. Matt shoulder blocks Jessie, who just flexes and finds himself back in a headlock. Jessie uses his power to scoop slam his opponent. Matt gains wrist control and makes Jessie drop to a knee. Once again, Jessie powers his way out of danger.

Matt lands a scoop slam himself and flexes to make fun of Jessie. He hits a Russian suplex for a two-count. Jessie is able to knee Matt in the solar plexus. The action is taken to the outside and Jessie dropkicks Matt into the steps.

-Commercial Break-

Back in the ring, Jessie stomps on his adversary. He gets in a bearhub, but Matt elbows his way out of it. Matt runs right into a powerslam, but kicks out. Jessie once again locks in the bearhug and uses the ropes for leverage. Matt gets out of it and hits the Side Effect.

The two fight on the top turnbuckle. Matt goes for a superplex, but Jessie fights him off. Matt throws him off the top rope and hits an elbow. Jessie lifts Matt up, but is hit with the Twist of Fate. Matt moves on to the semifinals and will meet Eric Young.

Winner: Matt Hardy

-Commercial Break-

The Dixie Carter interview is underway. She says Drew Galloway was the hottest free agent before TNA signed him. She says she was happy Drew led them to battle against Global Force Wrestling. She says she still believes in EC3, but that he needs to get over his entitlement and earn everything he gets. It’s announced the semifinals and finals of the World Title Series will take place on Jan. 5, 2016.

It’s revealed that Group Future 4 will team to take on Group X Division next week. Bobby Roode vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Rockstar Spud will also take place next week.

-Commercial Break

With EC3 and Davey Richards in the ring. He says his opponent’s run in the World Title Series ends here. Davey says he’s going to kick EC3’s head off his shoulders and the Wolves Nation will help him do it.

Singles Match: EC3 w/Tyrus vs. Davey Richards

Davey gets a wristlock early and transitions to a headlock. EC3 shoulder blocks his opponent, but runs into two hip tosses. Davey drop kicks EC3, who rolls out of the ring. Davey goes for a suicide dive, but Tyrus grabs a hold of Davey’s leg. EC3 earns a breather by connecting with a back elbow.

Davey starts punching his opponent and gets him on the ropes. EC3 sends Davey to the outside. With the referee distracted, Tyrus punches Davey on the outside.

-Commercial Break-

EC3 remains in control. He stomps on Davey in the corner. EC3 charges at Davey, but is sent to the outside. Davey hits a suicide dive on Tyrus once and on EC3 twice. Back in the ring, Davey hits a missile dropkick for a two-count. He goes for the double foot stomp, but misses and is planted with a clothesline. EC3 hits the TKO, but fails to secure a three-count.

Davey counters a schoolboy with a submission maneuver. EC3 plants him and hits the One Percenter to advance to the semifinals.

Winner: EC3
