The show opens up with Micheal Cole announcing the big matches of tonight.
Micheal Cole: Tonight on Monday Night RAW, we will have a number contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship between Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk.
Punk’s theme starts to play and the crowd goes wild. Punk comes out wildly and gets attacked from behind by Bad News Barrett. Barrett throws Punk into the ring and the match starts.
CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio (Number One Contender’s Match)
Del Rio goes down for the pin. The ref counts to two before Punk kicked out. Later in the match, Del Rio locks in the Cross Armbreaker. Punk picks him up with all he has left and connects the GTS. The ref counts the three.
Winner and the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship: CM Punk
Later that night……
Lana comes out and start’s praising Putin and introduces Rusev.
Justin Roberts: Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in a 236 pounds, the Hero of the Russian Federation, Rusev!
Rusev enters with the Russian flag and starts waving it around. He gets into the ring Jack Swagger’s theme starts to play.
Justin Roberts: And his opponent, he is the United States Champion, Jack Swagger!
Swagger and Rusev stare each other down. Swagger then punches Rusev and the match starts.
Swagger then locks Rusev into the Patriot Lock. Rusev looks like he’s about to tap and he reaches the bottom rope. Later on in the match, Rusev tries to Superkick Swagger and Swagger reverses with an anklelock. Rusev starts to cry and he taps. Lana starts to scream. She helps Rusev up only to deliver a low blow. She then tells him that he is a shadow of a man.

Meanwhile backstage…..
Dolph Ziggler is being interviewed about his win last night at WrestleMania and how he won the WWE World title from Bray Wyatt.
Tom Phillips: Please welcome my guest at this tim, the WWE World Champion, Dolph Ziggler.
The camera turns to Dolph Ziggler and the crowd goes wild.
Tom Phillips: Dolph how does it feel to be the new WWE World Champion?
Dolph Ziggler: Tom it feels good to be standing here your new WWE World Champion. Last night at WrestleMania, I had a hard fought battle with Bray Wyatt and….
The Wyatts come from nowhere and start assaulting Ziggler. Bray Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail on Dolph and says. “The Devil made me do it!”
The show then shifts to the Tag Team Champions, The Usos entering for their match. When they get are jumping like they do in their entrance and they get attacked by Rowan and Harper. Both teams then go back and forth battling outside in the crowd until Triple H comes out to tell the teams the match starts now and it will be a falls count anywhere match for the Tag Team Championship. The bell then rings.
Both teams go right back to what they were doing until Harper clotheslines both Usos to pick up the win.
