It’s 1991 and Brian Pillman was set to feud with Sid Vicious in WCW. The two got along backstage fine at this point and when hearing that they would be feuding, made the plan to get a quick drink and discuss some plot points of the storyline. Sid, being the more experienced star at the time, assumed that he would be calling most of the shots when it came to his program with Pillman. Unfortunately for Sid, Pillman had other plans in mind.
The two stopped at a bar which shared a parking lot with a gas station. As the two men began discussing the story, Pillman quickly realized that he wouldn’t be in charge which sparked the initial argument. The argument quickly turned into a fight and the two began exchanging blows in the restaurant. Although he is far smaller, Pillman gained the early advantage. Embarrassed by getting beaten by an undersized and newer member of the roster, Sid exited the bar in search of a weapon.
In the heat of the moment, Sid let anger get the best of him. Rocked by Pillman’s shots, Sid stumbled next door to the gas station where he grabbed the first item he could find… a squeegee.
Sid walked back to the bar, squeegee in hand, but was never able to finish what he started. Pillman was laughing so hard at his weapon of choice that he couldn’t even fight back. According to multiple reports, Sid was continuously ribbed backstage for his bad decision making.
