The New Day vs. The Lucha Dragons

Predicted Winner: The New Day

The Lucha Dragons started on a great hot streak after their NXT call-up, only to slightly be put on the backburner while the Prime Time Players enjoy some time in the spotlight. This should be a great match to showcase both teams. All men in this match have quick offense in order to keep even the most attention deficit of children entertained. In order to keep The New Day train rolling, expect them to pick up a win here.

Chris Jericho vs. Neville

Predicted Winner: Neville

This is a bit of a “past meats present” dream match. Jericho was originally slated to face Balor, which changed after the NXT title match was added to the show. Even though Jericho is past his prime, he is still in fantastic shape, and can still wrestle better than the majority of the current roster. Like the tag match, expect a fast-paced match. Jericho has nothing left to prove, and has no issue putting people over. Neville to win.

Cesaro vs. Diego

Predicted Winner: Cesaro

If any match gets left off the special, this would be one of the top contenders. The match itself will be fun, especially if Diego is allowed to get in some offence. Cesaro will only enhance the match, as per usual. The only issue with this match is that it feels a little out of place. If this does make it on the card, expect it to be short and for Cesaro to pick up the win.

Brock Lesnar vs. Kofi Kingston

Predicted Winner: Brock Lesnar

Kofi will be flying to Tokyo, only to be dragged off to suplex city. This match will serve as a great reminder of why Lesnar is so dominant. Unless Kofi’s teammates get involved, this probably will not last too long. Kofi is talented, but we can all agree that he is not at that main event level. Brock to toy with him, then win.

Nikki Bella vs. Naomi vs. Paige (Divas Championship)

Predicted Winner: Nikki Bella

Keeping Nikki as champ will further Alicia Fox, as well as give a good opener for when Charlotte and/or Sasha moves to the main roster. Nikki is at a point where she has had it so long, the title should be lost at a marquee event. That being said, Naomi and Paige can still put on a good match and look good, provided everyone is on the same page (no pun intended). Nikki to win.

Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens (NXT Championship)

Predicted Winner: Finn Balor

This is the match that most people are looking forward to. These are two of the hottest talents employed by the WWE right now. This will likely close the televised version of the show, so expect a great match with no time constraint. Finn has many ties to Japan, so he will likely try to put on his best performance under the WWE banner. This is likely Owens’ final match in NXT, so expect him to pull out all his innovative moves as well. Balor winning was a lock, up until the last NXT where he pinned Owens in the tag match. Booking 101 would have Owens go over after Balor went over in the tag match, but they could be throwing us for a swerve. It still makes more sense for Balor to take the win and let Owens move on without the NXT title.

John Cena and Dolph Ziggler vs. King Barrett and Kane

Predicted Winner: John Cena and Dolph Ziggler

A tag match between these men would have to end in a bloody massacre of ladders and tables if it was to properly follow a Lesnar match and NXT Title match. Likely, this will be an off-air match for the Japanese fans. If that is the case, Cena and Ziggler will be the ones taking home the win. Barrett is on a severely broken win/loss record, and Kane is essentially a placeholder. The action will be typical of a Raw main event, so if this does show, do not expect anything out of the ordinary.
