Opening Segment

Good intensity by both men. Roode stole the spotlight from Kurt Angle and set the tone of this segment. I think it is odd that we are getting anther stipulation that involves a steel cage. We just got it last week but should be a classic. It gives a different setting to a match that we have seen. I suppose Angle goes over to end the feud, but we will have to wait and see.

Madison Rayne Defeats Gail Kim

The match was decent, I was expecting a bit better and with that win. We know have a new challenger for Gail Kim’s title. Since Kim has held the title for some time, I fully expect Rayne to take over as champion. Maybe genesis? This match gets a 2.5-5* rating.

Chris Sabin wins X Division title!

Another decent match from both men. There should be a rematch coming soon? I haven’t read the spoilers. Sabin is just champion for now and it looks like Austin Aries could be the savior to Velvet Sky’s problems. The title is just there as a focal point to start the feud. Another thing, I cannot get over how much that title looks like the old WWE intercontinental title. This match gets a 2.5-5* rating.

Samuel Shaw Def. Norv Fernum

Ok does Norv Fernum have a family member in TNA or do they just hate him?. Either way, he jobbed and Sam Shaw gets his first win in a while. I like the gimmick (As a major stalker) but will it help him or hurt him in the long run, is the real question.

Beer Money Def. Angle & Gunner

It was fun while it lasted with the one-time only reunion of Beer Money. The two stars are and should be booked higher than a tag team spot on the roster. They have proven everything in that role and it is time to go with them as “top guy” status. Both men have proven they can handle the load but for some reason TNA does not see that. Continuation of both feuds and will get a pay-off soon. This match gets a 3.5-5* rating.

Ethan Carter 3 – Sting talking segment

Good segment by both men, EC3 played his part perfectly and we finally get the match that we have been building towards. I see EC3 getting a cheap win, but no doubt. It will continue.

Bully Ray – Mr. Anderson Segment

This was pointless, the dark character feels forced upon us by Bully Ray. Yes we saw MR. Anderson return but just to back up and not do anything just because lighter fluid was thrown on him. The booking is not meshing well and I think fans will complain about it more than they usually does. Yes I am complaining as well.

Magnus being crowned TNA world champion and the return of AJ Styles

A good promo by both Magnus and AJ Styles. Yes it is a rip off from WWE but does WWE really care? It was a hot finish to a match that has been in the waiting for some time. I am surprised that they are not waiting until Genesis which is only a week after this match. In any case, nice edition of Impact! This week.
