Becky Lynch won the 2019 Royal Rumble and immediately made it clear she will challenge RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 35.

Despite the loss to SmackDown Women’s champion, Asuka, Lynch stood tall in the Royal Rumble Match and now has her chance to headline the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Lynch and Rousey have been the faces of the WWE and the Women’s Division this year, while they are both considered fan favourites.

Their feud has been highly anticipated since the 2018 Survivor Series. However, a face injury that The Man suffered at the hands of Nia Jax postponed their match to a later day. Lynch was replaced by Charlotte Flair, who dominated the RAW Women’s Champion.

Since then, Lynch is looking for an opportunity to battle Rousey. Her heel turn can create a dream match, since Rousey has been a babyface since his debut in Wrestlemania 34.

Both superstars are two of the top female Superstars at the moment, so their match has everything it takes to be a blockbuster event that will steal the spotlight.

Lynch has the chance to show she is the best female superstar right now. She has dominated the Women’s Division over the past few months and maybe now is time for her to headline Wrestlemania and receive her “moment”.

Aside from the confrontation between the two superstars, the WWE has the opportunity to make this match special for the Women’s Division and the revolution they want to bring.

With the company attempting to show that women are equal to men within the WWE (first Women’s Royal Rumble, first Elimination Chamber, first All-Women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, etc), what a better way to further push their idea by having Rousey and Lynch main event Wrestlemania.

There is no doubt that Lynch and Rousey can create a dream match. The heat that both superstars bring to the ring ensures their battle will steal the show at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

With that in mind, the creative team should now do its best to build The Man vs. The Baddest Woman on the Planet as the main event at Wrestlemania 35.
